The National Personal Training Institute is fully licensed by the Bureau of Higher Education and the State Department of Education. The Diploma Certification is nationally recognized and accepted across all U.S. states, Canadian provinces, and the vast majority of countries worldwide. Because our program exceeds state and federal standards, continuing education units (CEUs) are not required. We sought regulation in an unregulated industry.
The National Personal Training Institute is an academic partner with NASM, giving graduates the optional ability to obtain a higher version of their CPT (Academic Certificate of Distinction) upon completion of the program. This option is available strictly as an add-on for those who wish to hold an additional credential; however, it is not necessary for employment. NPTI’s nationally licensed credential already exceeds all exam-only certifications and fully qualifies graduates to work as professional personal trainers without the need for any outside certification.
