GFI is a 220-hour (3 Month) course through NASM, who is partnered with AFAA (Athletics & Fitness Association of America). During this course you will learn how to design, choreograph and lead a group fitness class which includes the various modalities of strength/resistance, HIIT/interval, boot camp, yoga, cycle and more. Exercise and physiology will be an essential factor, as well as foundations of nutrition and healthy eating. You will also learn how to adapt your skills for special populations (such as pregnant or senior participants), and will hone your business skills. This course includes both in-person learning in the classroom, as well as hands-on learning in the gym.
